A Kansas native, Jamie Talbott-Lamb now lives on an urban farm in Des Moines, Iowa and is the Author of a book for children, entitled “ALFONSO GOES HOME.” Future Alfonso books forthcoming.
Jamie became interested in and involved with mental health issues when a family member became ill in 2001. She is passionate about and has strong beliefs in the importance of mental health treatment, and in bringing awareness to mental health issues. A portion of the profits from ALFONSO GOES HOME are donated to NAMI-Greater Des Moines to promote education and to battle homelessness.
